Team Member, National Physical Activity Plan. Lean and Green^® is working on the U.S. Physical Activity Plan, focused on the parks, recreation, fitness and sports sector. The work group is currently exploring legislative instruments, the benefits of green fitness centers, partnerships with outdoor activity leaders, and the integration of physical activity opportunities with open spaces and outdoor recreation areas.

Board Member, National Association for Health & Fitness. Many states have active councils that promote physical activity for persons of all ages and abilities. Governor and State Councils represent the grassroots programs that encourage the need for and benefits of regular physical activity, reaching more than 215 million people through state and local programs. An independent board member of NAHF, Wendy Ramsey, through Lean and Green^® is working with others to carry out the nation-wide mission to encourage and enhance cooperation on this important topic.
