Live Healthy America
First established in Lean and Green's home state under the Iowa Sports Foundation, the Live Healthy Iowa (LHI) program is now available nationally (Live Healthy America). If you want to reach a large number of people in your organization or community, then choose which program is the best fit--Lean and Green encourages you to contact the Live Healthy team. The National Association for Health and Fitness (NAHF) is a non-profit organization that exists to improve the quality of life for individuals in the United States through the promotion of physical fitness, sports and healthy lifestyles. Considered the gold standard in smoking cessation, American Lung Association's Freedom From Smoking (FFS) course applies tested behavior change methods for those who are ready to take this important step toward good health. With online and in-person group sessions, your Lean and Green FFS facilitator brings this state-of-the-science ALA program to you.
A member since 1998, Lean and Green upholds ACE standards of practice and codes of ethics for personal trainers and fitness instructors. In practice, Lean and Green has applied these standards to the development of individual and group activity sessions as well as in recommendations for corporations encouraging physical activity among employees.
